Multi-Milestone Day!

Day 028 #PanicRoom
Day 093 #100DaysOfGameDev
DAY 100 #100DAYSOFCODE

Today was an amazing day in the journey of my GameDev career. Not only did I finish my first procedurally-generated level-building tool that I toiled on all weekend, but it’s completion culminated in my 100th day of documented coding since taking on the 100 Days of Code challenge!

Working on my code to build a basic house structure and have it self-wall itself in, I did the tweaking that was needed to get the different pieces to form in the right places. I started with the left wall first, and when I was able to get that into the correct position, I moved on to the other walls.

One by one I was able to get them aligned and displaying properly, not matter what size I told the game to make the house. If you had asked me 100 days ago if I thought I would be able to do this, I probably would not have said I would. I have learned so much in the last 100 days, but the biggest thing I have learned is how much more I have to learn! Truly, every time I learn something new, I am sparked forward to learn even more by new ideas I get. I am looking forward to what the next 100 days can bring.
