Unity Learn – 2D Roguelike – Level Generation: Writing the Board Manager

Day 006 #100DaysOfGameDev

Today I dove deep into writing the C# code that will procedurally generate the game board for the 2D Roguelike project.

Since starting to learn how to code, this all makes SO much more sense to me now and really wasn’t all that hard to follow along with. I even actually look forward to playing with the code to tweak it out to serve my own personal project I have going on.

Tomorrow I will work on the other half of the code which should then allow me to put it all together and see some fruit from my labors. I am really excited to see how procedurally-generated levels get created and doors will certainly open from having learned these skills.
