Tower Defense Level Design

Day 062 #100DaysOfGameDev

Today’s work was primarily focused on level design for the 2D tower defense game I am learning how to build as part of my latest Udemy online course. I wanted to take some time to focus on placing art assets in order to create a cohesive and well-thought-out level that I will program and play. Learning how to care for all factors of game design are important and I am glad to have taken the time to slow down and pay attention to some of the details that are easy to rush past and gloss over sometimes.

Base Path layout for the level
Adding Village Houses to the level
Finishing up with adding extra set decorations to the level
