Unity Learn – 2D Roguelike – Player and Enemy Animations

Day 001 #100DaysOfGameDev

I decided to start working on Unity’s 2D Roguelike project because it is most like the game I am going to try and build, so I figured that’s a good place to start.

I learned how to import sprite sheets and select the individual sprites you are going to work with to create the movements for the different characters. It was easier than I expected (but then, Unity is so intuitive!) and after I got it all working per the tutorial, I began messing around with things to figure out how I can tweak it all to make it my own. I will start designing my own characters and setting them to my own sprite sheets that I can incorporate into the game later.
